The Experience
Let’s Break It Down like we’re on the dance floor.
Great question! Here’s what you can expect each step of the way as my clients:
step 1:
Introduce yourself (and any fur babies, please)!
Reach out via my inquiry form and I’ll get back to you within 24-48 hours. We’ll schedule a free consultation call to get to know each other and discuss your goals and vision for your wedding or engagement session. If we’re both feelin’ it, I’ll send across a contract to sign, pay, and reserve your date.

Cheers to you, you just checked a BIG item off
Once you sign the contract and pay your non-refundable retainer, it’s time to schedule your engagement session (and pop some champagne, because finding your photographer is a BFD).

Floof that hair, it’s time for your engagement
Together we’ll brainstorm location ideas, plan the logistics, and make it happen. I’ll send tips for picking out your outfits and all that good stuff. Basically, just get ready to have fun! Sessions typically last 1 hour.

Let’s Get Prepped
In the months leading up to your wedding, I’ll send you vendor recommendations to help with your planning, and I’ll create a customized photography timeline for the day of!

Let’s do the damn thing!
It’s time to take a deep breath, shake off the nerves, and walk down that aisle! I will arrive 30 minutes early to familiarize myself with the venue, lighting, weather, etc. (and to fetch you snacks, of course).
step 6:
Send Pics
I’ll deliver preview images within 48 of your wedding day, and deliver the full gallery within 8 weeks. Then you can order albums or wall art to cherish for years to come. Can I get a woop woop?!

But here’s the thing: You don’t have to fit into a certain box to be my ideal client. You don’t have to be trendy or outdoorsy or boho or classic. All you have to do is value photography, trust my skills, and understand its value for your wedding.
All of my “ideal” clients have been from different walks of life and backgrounds, but they do have a few things in common: They like to have fun, be silly, and don’t take life too seriously! They know how to work hard and play hard with the loved ones in their lives—and know that ultimately a beautiful marriage is more important than a flawless ceremony!
And they usually have dogs. But I’ll still love you if you don’t, promise.

I typically deliver 50+ images for engagement sessions, and 50+ images per hour of wedding coverage. Every session and wedding is different, so there is no exact number - but I promise not to leave anything out!

Hell yes! Love is love, and I believe everyone should have their love story documented, no matter their orientation.

What if you haven’t been to our venue before?
If time allows, I’m more than happy to schedule a venue tour beforehand, however light scenarios change from day to day, and I find that having a plan beforehand can limit my creativity the day of.

DO YOU GIVE OUT UNEDITED PHOTOS?
Would you ask your cake baker to bring you raw ingredients? Absolutely not. You fell in love with my work partly because of my experience and editing process.

When should I book you?
ASAP! I only take one wedding per day, and typically book 9-18 months in advance. Dates are booked on a first come, first serve basis, and are not considered booked without a signed contract and non-refundable retainer.

I require a $1000 non refundable retainer for weddings, and 50% non refundable retainer for engagement sessions. Final payment is due 30 days before for weddings, and 1 day before for engagement sessions.

If, heaven forbid, there is an emergency that keeps me from making it to your wedding. I would send one of my trusted associates in my place to photograph your day, and I would still edit your photos in my signature style. No matter what, you will be in good hands!

I send all of my clients a styling guide to help them choose outfits for their engagement sessions, plus they also get access to my client closet! Need some extra input? Feel free to send me photos of what you’re planning, and I’ll be happy to give my opinion.

Cloudy days and wind can add some drama to photos, so I always suggest embracing it, but if it’s raining cats and dogs, we’ll work together for a reschedule date.
