Disney Grand Floridian & Paddlefish Wedding
If you’ve followed me for a while, then you know how much I love Disney, so I was so excited when A and C inquired with me about capturing their Disney Grand Floridian and Paddlefish wedding last spring. From the small Disney details to Cinderella’s carriage, everything about this day was magical. They even added on a last minute engagement session at Disney’s Boardwalk.
The Ceremony: Disney Grand Floridian Wedding Pavillion
The Wedding Pavillion at the Grand Floridian is the perfect location to have a beautiful ceremony without the need for a lot of floral and decor. The bridal blue walls and the stained glass window give the space a romantic charm. You also have the opportunity to take photos at Picture Point over looking Seven Seas Lagoon with Magic Kingdom in the background. A and C celebrated with champagne and cake in the Grand Floridian Ballroom, where the famous Mickey and Minnie Mouse made an appearance in their wedding attire. They were a huge hit amount friends and family.
Fun fact: The window in the Wedding Pavillion acts as a magnifying glass on Cinderella’s castle, making it appear much closer.
The Reception: Paddlefish at Disney Springs
A and C treated their guests to a delicious seafood meal at Paddlefish, which gave us the opportunity to take some more couple’s portraits. We even got to include other guests visiting Disney Springs.
