When I met Tory and Wyatt at their engagement session, this Wedding Photographer fell in love with them right away! Between Tory’s sweet personality and Wyatt’s willingness to go along with my crazy prompts, they are just downright fun to hang out with! But what is most incredible about this pair is the playful love they have for their friends, family, and most especially for each other. So when Tory asked if I’d be willing to travel to Champaign, IL to capture their wedding day, of course I said yes! I am so thankful for the opportunity I had to document their wedding at the Venue CU, and now I can’t wait to share all the highlights with you!
From the time spend getting ready with her best friends to the moment she raced onto the dance floor to bust a move, Tory was absolutely glowing. And when she walked down the aisle of the church not only her parents were married in, but her grand parents helped build, no one could take the eyes off of her. Especially Wyatt. The way they giggled with each other when they met at the altar made you see just how overjoyed they were to say “I do”.
One of the best parts, though, was preserving how effortlessly Tory and Wyatt embraced the rainy weather, and they refused to let it put a damper on their wedding day. After the ceremony, the new Mr. and Mrs, along with their wedding party, hopped on a party bus to celebrate and drove around downtown Champaign. We found the perfect photo spot that provided shelter from the rain, and immediately the shenanigans began with the girls icing the guys, followed by a special delivery from Taco Bell. Moments like these are the ones I can’t wait to photograph.
Tory and Wyatt told me the thing they were most looking forward to seeing in their wedding photography was their personalities shining through. And I believe without a doubt we captured exactly that!
So, as the newlyweds celebrated the best day of their lives with he people they loved most, I couldn’t help but share in their fun as I clicked away with my camera! Congratulations, Tory and Wyatt, on your new life together, and may it be filled with love and laughter!

“Simply put, the best photographer in the DFW area!! Not only am I OBSESSED with how our photos turned out, she truly made the whole process less stressful and enjoyable! She rolled with crazy weather and an even crazier wedding party. She made the process engaging and so fun! When we had crazy ideas (eating tacos in my wedding dress), she embraced it and truly let all of our personalities show. She cares about what we want out of the photos and her creativity is beyond what I could have expected. I cannot recommend her enough. She is such a talented photographer and you would be missing out if you didn’t use Monica.”
