Dallas Arboretum Engagement Session
A and K are some of the most fun humans. I really had such a blast getting to know then during their Dallas Arboretum engagement session. Their love for each other is so big, that you can’t help but to feel so happy for them and root them on as they embark on married life together. We started their session in A Woman’s Garden, and made our way through the Arboretum before we ended at DeGolyer Pergola, where A and K danced and sang together to some classic Backstreet Boys.
If you’re thinking about having your own Dallas Arboretum engagement photos done, here are some things you should know:
- The Dallas Arboretum’s Hours of Operation are 9AM-5PM.
- Lighting at the arboretum is best in the morning, unless it’s during the winter months, then it would be from 4PM-5PM when you can take advantage of golden hour.
- There is an entrance fee of $20 per person, and parking fee of $15 per vehicle, which can be purchased online when you make your reservation. Don’t forget to include your photographer!
- The Dallas Arboretum can get really busy on the weekends, so I recommend scheduling your session during the week to avoid crowds. It will also be easier to get photos in your top garden locations without having to wait.
- If you have a specific area in the garden that you’d like to use, let your photographer know ahead of time so they can plan a route and use your time efficiently.
